Directions to the island from Area Airports

From Brownsville International
Leave the terminal and head west on Billy Mitchell Blvd (FM 2519) toward Teofilo Crixell St., Then turn right onto S Iowa Ave., Turn right onto Boca Chica Blvd. and then turn left onto N Minnesota Ave. (FM 313)  Next turn right onto E 14th St. Padre Island Hwy Tx-48 and continue until you get to the trafflic light in Port Isabel. Then turn right, on Hwy 100 until you reach the Queen Isabel Causeway. Dirive time 30 minutes.

From Harlingen Airport
Leave the airport going north on Airport Dr./ Heritage Way toward Marine Dr., Continue to follow on Heritage Way. Then turn left onto Eucalyptus. Eucalyptus becomes Airport Dr. Turn Left onto N Ed Carry Dr. (TX-499) Continue to follow TX-499. Then turn left onto US 83 S (US 77 S). Merge onto US-77 S via the ramp on the left. Take the exit toward TX 100 South Padre Island. Stay straight until you reach the Queen Isabel Causeway. Drive time 45 minutes.

From McAllen Miller International Airport
Leave the terminal headed north on S 10th St. (TX 336) toward Old 10th St. Turn right on US-83 S. Then turn left to take the US-83 E ramp. Merge onto US-83 S. Take the exit toward TX-100 South Padre Island. Stay straight until you reach the Queen Isabel Causeway. Drive time 1 hour and 30 minutes.
